  • ELEMENTS DESIGN CONSULTANT:

 

Beattie Homes is looking for a front line individual who is creatively motivated, with a positive attitude to join our active design team.

 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WOULD POSSESS:

  • Minimum Interior Decorating Certification / Preference will be given to those who have Interior Design
  • Diploma or Degree
  • Residential home construction knowledge, ability to read architectural drawings and documents
  • Strong focus and attention to detail and organization
  • Superior customer service with exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Own the ability to manage and thrive in a fast paced, consumer and team oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with AutoCad, SketchUp or HomeFront would be an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting with new Beattie homeowners and assisting them through their interior selections
  • Administering new home files start to finish, sourcing materials, communicating with associated departments, obtaining pricing from both venders and estimating
  • Complete  Interior Selections package for release to site, trades and homeowners
  • Complete Design Center Additions and Upgrade List with associated pricing
  • Assist Design Team in maintaining:
     - furniture inventory
     - showhome set-up and take down
     - presentation of design center
     - new product information and pricing
  • Sales Associate to our Area Manager in Rainbow Falls, Chestermere

 

We are welcoming energetic, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy doing that “little bit extra” to assist our client to find the best solutions to their housing needs through our amazing home designs and services. Applicants should have previous sales or Customer Service related experience with New Home sales and basic computer skills an asset.

This is a part-time commitment requiring you to be available weekends and the occasional evening and or holidays; approximately 10-16 hours/week.

 

  • Estimator

 

A position at Beattie Homes includes working with a successful home builder that strives to build the best homes and the best people.

Beattie Homes is currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join their skilled team. As a member of the estimating group, the Estimator will be responsible for maintaining an accurate costing, estimating and purchase order system for the organization.

 

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Have 2+ years experience in estimating with a focus on residential construction projects
  • Be familiar with purchase order systems and issuing variance purchase orders
  • Show a strong attention to quality and detail while adhering to fixed deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, trades and suppliers
  • Possess a relevant technical and/or academic degree
  • Be able to update budgets and maintain base model costs
  • Have a solid working knowledge of estimating software with experience using HomeFront preferred
